Returns & Exchanges

What is the return policy?

How can I create a return?

How long do returns take?

- For refunds to original payment method, please allow up to 14 business days from when we receive the items for your account to be refunded.

Exchange policy 

- Free exchanges for a different item or online store credit within 45 days of the shipping date.

- Exchanges will only be accepted if the item is in brand new, unworn condition with the tags attached. This means the item must be unwashed, free of stains, deodorant marks, perfume scents, dirt, and hair.

- The only items that do not require tags to be intact when returned are our OG Shorts and Joggers as they do not come with additional tags.

- We allow one exchange per original purchase. Once an item has been exchanged, the new item cannot be exchanged again.

- Exchanges are processed once the item you are sending back is dropped in the mail and tracking indicates the item has been received.

What if I want to exchange for a completely different style rather than just a size or color change?

- At this time we do not offer cross variant exchanges. However, you can exchange for store credit and purchase the item you would like instead.

What if the item I want is out of stock?

- If an item is out of stock that you want to exchange for we suggest doing an exchange for store credit and signing up for a back in stock notification. Example:


 

I removed the tag on the item I purchased, can I still return or exchange the item?

- Unfortunately, we cannot accept items that have been worn or the tags removed. We have to enforce this policy to keep our customers happy and healthy.

I received the incorret items, how can I get this fixed?

- We apologize for the mixup! You cansubmit an exchange for the correct items here.

I'm kind of between sizes, what's the best way to try a few options?

- We allow one exchange per purchase, so the best route is to order the two sizes you are in between and exchange the size that doesn’t work for the size that does, because we offer free exchanges and returns require a small fee of $6.95.

I was refunded less than I paid initially, what gives?

- This could be happening for two reasons. 1) If you paid for shipping to you, shipping is not refunded because it is a service already completed. 2) If you are doing a return there is a $6.95 fee to cover shipping and restocking.

Order Changes

- We try our best to accommodate order changes that are requested within 1 hour of an order being placed, but cannot guarantee the order will be changed.

- Please email info@wowielife.com to request an order change for items, address, or cancellation within 1 hour of purchase.

Welcome/First Timer discount

- You can get access to a first time customer discount by signing up for email or texts in the popup on our website. After submitting you will receive an text message or email with our welcome code that you can use at checkout when you're ready if you've never used it before. If you're not seeing the email, be sure to double check your spam or promotions folder for an email from info@wowilife.com.

- Due to limitations in our system, we're not able to apply discounts to orders after they have been processed. However, you can use the welcome code on your next order so please be sure to hold on to it.

- Please note that free shipping is calculated on the price of your order after discounts and before taxes.

Payment Options

- We offer payment options through the major credit card providers in addition to Paypal, Google Pay, Facebook Pay, and Apple Pay.

- We also offer split payment options through Shop Pay where you can pay over multiple installments.

- Gift cards and store credit issued by Wowie can also be used.

Payment Issues

- Wowie uses third party payment providers that validate your payment method. If your payment method is declined we cannot assist in resolving the payment validation.

Referral Discounts

- You can sign up here to refer friends and family to get additional discounts.
- Referrals are only valid for first-time customers.
- Friends must spend a minimum of $60 in order to use the referral discount.
- Friend referral discounts are valid for 30 days after issue.
- 24 hours after a successful purchase by the friend referred using the referral discount code, advocate will receive a discount code via email for $20 off.
- Advocate discount code may only be used on orders greater than $60.
- Advocate reward expires 30 days after issue.
- Referral discount codes cannot be posted publicly without prior written approval by Wowie.
- Any abuse of this offer, as determined by Wowie, may result in the rescission of the referring customer's referral credit and the referred person's promo code as well as both parties' inability to participate in this or future promotions. Referral credit cannot be applied to previous purchases, and is not redeemable for cash. This referral program is subject to modification or termination at any time without notice in our sole discretion.

Where is my order?

- Once your order ships you will receive an email from info@wowielife.com with your tracking number. Please refer to your tracking number for the latest updates on your order's progress.

- If your tracking number has not shown an update in 5 or more business days please contact info@wowielife.com.

My order is showing as delivered, but I don’t see a delivery.

- We're not familiar with your delivery situation, but when this happens we suggest getting in touch with whoever accepts your mail and/or your USPS mailman. Most of the time it just turns up in 3-5 business days. You will also want to confirm your original delivery address is correct.
- If your order still doesn't show up in 3-5 business days be sure to let us know and we will take further action.

Product Information

What are the differences between Wowie's shorts?

- All shorts have handwoven pocket patterns that vary in color and style.

OG Short(Casual): These are first shorts we ever made. They're a simple casual short with no built-in stretch made of 65% cotton and 35% tetron (feels like a beach linen short). These are our most affordable option, but still have the sweet pocket patterns and loud colors. These shorts do not have a built-in liner. Built for: Walking | Socializing | Chillin'.

Sapien Short(Casual): These are our first stretch casual short. Similar to the OG Short, but built a fabric that is 2% spandex and 98% cotton for stretch and maximum mobility. These have an added premium drawstring and a back pocket button. These shorts do not have a built-in liner. Built for: Walking | Socializing | Chillin'.

Sapien 2.0 Short(Casual): These are our newest stretch casual short. Similar to the Sapien Short, but we upgraded the fabric yet again to a 100% stretch polyester that does not shrink in the dryer and does not wrinkle nearly as easy as the V1 Sapien shorts. These too have an added premium drawstring and a back pocket button. Available in 5" and 7" inseam. These shorts do not have a built-in liner. Built for: Walking | Socializing | Chillin'.

Nomad Short(Athletic/Swim): These are our first athletic/swim hybrid short. We built this short to be as versitile as our customer whether they are hiking, swimming, working out, or just hanging out. These shorts are made of a water resistant 92% polyester and 8% spandex material. They also have a lightweight, anti-odor, anti-chafing boxer brief liner to provide breathability and support. Available in 5" and 7" inseam. Built for: Hiking | Swimming | Training | Chillin'.

Nomad 2.0 Short(Athletic/Swim): These are our newest athletic/swim hybrid short. Similar to the Nomad Short, but we upgraded the fabric to a water-resistant 4-way stretch premium 88% polyester and 12% spandex. We also updated the short to have a gusset for addition stretch along with quick-drain pocket bag fabric. They still have the comfy lightweight, anti-odor, anti-chafing boxer brief liner. Available in 5" and 7" inseam. Built for: Hiking | Swimming | Training | Chillin'.

Flow Short(Athletic): These are our new athletic short and the most comfortable shorts we're ever made. Similar look to the Nomad 2.0 Short, but you'll notice the biggest difference when you put them on. They have an ultra-lite premium fabric that is water-resistant 4-way stretch, 88% polyester and 12% spandex. The Flow Short has a slightly more form fitting runners cut, plus a looser waistband and softer strings to give you a very comfortable fit. The short also has a gusset for addition stretch along with deep comfortable pockets. They have a comfy lightweight, anti-odor, anti-chafing boxer brief liner. Available in 5.5" and 7" inseam. Built for: Yoga | Running | Training | Chillin'.

How often do you restock your gear?

- Most of our gear is restocked every few months with the exception of a few products.

- OG Shorts are restocked about every two weeks. We use a small family-owned manufacturer who makes these in small batches. Yes, these are "craft" shorts.

- Unfortunately, some products will never return. However, we don't always know this in advance. Your best bet is to sign up for back in stock notifications on the product page of the product you're waiting for. This way you'll be emailed if the item is restocked.

Where is your gear designed and built?

- We design all our products ourself in Scottsdale, Arizona. However, we spend a fair amount of time getting inspiration and designing in Hawaii, our birthland. Our products are ethically manufactured in different parts of Asia.

How can I figure out my size?

- Start by taking the below measurements our yourself.

- Once you've found your measurements, determine which size is right for you. If you're bewteen sizes, choose a smaller size if you like a tighter fit. If you want looser, go a size up. *Sizing charts can be found below.
