very restrictive. The opening is way too vertical, for example, I tried to get a small item from my pocket when I was in the car and it a lot of effort.

For some reason these black OG shorts are just super low quality. The short fabric is thin and basically see through when you hold it up to the light. As well the pocket pattern is too loosely knitted and poor color selection. I was hoping they'd just be a natural fabric version of the black Nomad's, but they fell pretty short.

These shorts run small. This is my third pair of Wowie casual shorts and I've always loved them. However the last two pairs I got were medium, as even as a 5'8" man these would run really tight around my quads. Decided to try out a large and it's been perfect. As a smaller guy it's tough to find shorts that fit nicely, but these are it. And I get tons of compliments on the pocket accents. I'll be buying another pair after writing this review.

They fit great in the waist but way too tight in the thigh. Can’t wear them because I can’t even sit down without fear of them ripping. So if you have an average to above average thigh size. I’d order a size up. Still like the look and feel of them so I’m giving them 4 stars. Just sucks I can’t wear them.

Love these casual shorts. I can wear them for hanging out at the house or I can do my job as a personal trainer in them. My old lady clients love when I wear them and give me lots of compliments. I’ve noticed they have all gotten better at showing up for their sessions, too! They aren’t workout shorts, but I can demo any exercise I want to in them, and I bought some nomad shorts for my workouts (they are even more amazing). I get lots of compliments in them, too. BTW, I bought these shorts in a small, I’m 5’6” athletic build and they hug my thighs just enough. If you like loose shorts, reconsider your life choices and buy a size up from what you’d normally wear.
TLDR; buy these shorts if you want to feel good about yourself.

The OG shorts are made of a thin, see through material. Maybe it’s for that light weight feeling. Feels a little cheap. But just washed them and they didn’t shrink. Returned and exchanged the M for a L. Still waiting for my refund on that. Reached out to customer service and no response yet.

This was my second purchase from Wowie, and these shorts, much like the last pair are fantastic!
They're extremely comfortable, easy to take care of, and are fast becoming a favorite. The one downside that I have discovered, is that my partner tends to borrow them, so they aren't always available for me to wear.
Great company experience so far (I'm in my late 50s, and tend to not go out on a limb for companies unless they've made an impression).

The shorts are nice quality. I bought them for my boyfriend as a birthday gift. Turns out they were too small on the inseam though. I went through the return process, but I never received an email with the information I needed to start the return. I’m in school and busy so I didn’t follow up until recently and now it’s too late to exchange the 3 pairs of shorts I bought. It’s very upsetting knowing I tried to start the process in time and was never sent an email. I suppose learn from my mistake and follow up. I don’t know if this happens often or if I just happened to get this unfortunate experience with this company.
