It was steamy key largo. My Wowie 5” shorts had arrived the previous evening. I slipped them on and immediately knew the rest of my life would be different. The fit was, for lack of a better word…scrumptious, with the slight strength that would accommodate the most rambunctious river otter. Able to be worn to the brewery or out to dinner. Well made with a touch flare on the pockets. With complete sincerity, after wearing them once, I donated the rest of my shorts and ordered six more pairs of the wowies.

I have 4 pair of OG Wowie shorts in size Large. They are hands down my favorite shorts and I wear them daily. My only complaint on the OGs is the material doesn't stretch at all. So I ordered 3 pair of Sapien 2.0 in Large thinking these would replace my OGs as my daily short. The Large Sapein 2.0 came and they are significantly smaller than the OGs in the same size, so much smaller I couldn't get them on. The exchange program with Wowie is super easy so sent them back and ordered XL thinking they would be perfect. Nope, way too big. Baggie in the crotch and way too long in the leg. I just don't understand how the fit can be so different between the OGs and Sapiens. Very disappointed that there is that much difference in fit between the two shorts. Still love my OGs and will reorder more when I wear these out, just wish there was a better fitting stretch option.

Comfortable fit and great material. I ordered the 5" and only thing I'm disappointed about is the pockets stick out the bottom when I have something in them. Make the pockets smaller and you'll have the perfect shorts.
